Halloween Horror Nights

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios

Do you like getting scared? Are you afraid of the dark? Clowns? Things that go bump in the night? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios in Orlando FL is perfect for you.

Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is the premier Halloween Event in Orlando. This year, Horror Nights is celebrating 30 years of bringing your nightmares to life. The party starts September 3rd and continues until October 31st on select nights. You can look forward to terrifying haunted houses, sinister scare zones, outrageous live entertainment, and the park’s exhilarating attractions. Don’t blink and look around every corner, Jack the Clown will be lurking from the shadows waiting for just the right moment to give you a freight.

Universal’s creative team has really brought their A game with 10 different themed haunted houses this year. So what can you look forward to:

  • The Haunting of Hill House

  • BeetleJuice

  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

  • Universal Monsters The Bride of Frankenstein

  • Halloween Horror Nights Icons: Captured

  • Horror in the Heartland

  • Case Files Unearthed: Legendary Truth

  • The Wicked Growth: Realm of the Pumpkin

  • Puppet Theatre: Captive Audience

  • Revenge of the Tooth Fairy

This sounds like an amazing and horrifying list and I can’t wait to go.

Not only are there haunted houses, there are scare zones. That list includes:

  • Crypt TV

  • 30 Years 30 Fears

  • Seek and Destroy

  • Gorewood Forest

  • Lights Camera Hacktion: Eddie’s Revenge

This year’s scare zones are a way to celebrate the last 30 years of monsters, madness, and mayhem at Universal Studios.

Still not enough for you? How about some live entertainment? There are two shows: Marathon or Mayhem at the Carnage Factory (Universal Studios’ lagoon) and Halloween Nightmare Fuel. Halloween Nightmare Fuel will feature fire, pyro, and aerial performers. Both shows sound amazing and I can’t wait to see them live and in person.

Finally it’s time to talk about my favorite part, the food, the merchandise, and the rides. This year’s treats sound horrifyingly delicious. At select dining locations, the special treats and drink concocts will be themed after the haunted houses and scare zones. And of course don’t forget to stop in at one of the ghoulish shops to purchase this year’s creepy t-shirt. Then when you are done getting scared, you can take a ride on all the great attractions Universal has to offer.

Over the last 30 years, Halloween Horror Nights has become a must do for the fall and Halloween season. This year’s lineup sounds amazing and I can’t wait to scream my way through Universal Studios in Orlando FL.
