The WHEEL at Icon Park

I can’t believe it’s August! Soon another summer will come to an end, and the start of a new school year will begin. Did you go anywhere awesome this summer? Did you have at least one amazing vacation filled with memories that will last a lifetime? If you answered no, then I’m here to tell you that there is still time to make 2021 awesome. After 2020, we all deserve a vacation. Florida and it’s theme parks have a great lineup of exciting attractions and events to go this fall, so make yourself a cup of hot apple cider, and let’s talk about fall in Florida.

Walt Disney World always has something magical in the works. This October, the Magic Kingdom will be celebrating its 50th anniversary. The celebration will begin October 1st, and it will continue for the next 15 months. During the celebration, new rides and attractions will open, so we will keep you updated on all of the magic as it unfolds. Starting at the end of August, the Magic Kingdom will host Boo Bash. This party replaced Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. The party will run until October 31st. Finally, over in Epcot, the Food and Wine Festival is back, and it promises another yummy year. The fun began back in July, and it will run through November 20th.

Let's head over to Universal Studios Orlando Resorts. Halloween Horror Nights is a great event for those who love a good scare. The party starts September 3rd and continues until October 31st. Remember this is a separate ticketed event but it's totally worth it. Then when you are done getting scared, you can take a ride on the brand new VelociCoaster.

Now SeaWorld has a full calendar of fun as well. August 13th kicks off the Craft Beer Festival. This event only takes place on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Labor Day is also included. Come taste and enjoy over 100 different craft beers from all over the state of Florida. The Craft Beer Festival ends September 12th. September is a scary month with the start of Howl-O-Scream and Spooktacular. Howl-O-Scream starts September 10th and ends October 31st. This event is for pre-teens and up who love a good scare. Spooktacular is a trick or treat event for those little ones who love the fun of dressing up and collecting treats. This event starts September 18th and also ends October 31st.

As you can see, Orlando Florida is the place to be this fall. It's a great time to head down to the theme parks to celebrate Halloween, drink some craft beers, and eat some yummy treats. Also, if you don't want to be in the parks all day, Orlando has a number of great concerts, shows, and restaurants to visit. When you are in Florida, there is always something to see and do.
