I have some very exciting news. Are you ready?
Fireworks are returning to Walt Disney World and Disneyland! Let me say that again: Fireworks are BACK!
Starting July 1, you can see the nighttime spectaculars Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever return to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT respectively. Disneyland’s fireworks show, Mickey’s Mix Magic, will return July 4.
Happily Ever After takes guests through the stories of some classic Disney stories via fireworks, lights, and projections on Cinderella Castle. The soundtrack features iconic songs like “Go the Distance,” “Friend Like Me,” and “How Far I’ll Go.” The show begins at 9:15 each night, but make sure you head to Main Street USA early to grab a great spot.
EPCOT Forever captures everything we love about EPCOT. The show features fireworks, lighting, special effects, and music from your favorite EPCOT attractions. You will also get a peak at new things to come to EPCOT! The show begins at 10 p.m. in the World Showcase.
At Disneyland in California, Mickey’s Mix Magic celebrates the iconic duo of Mickey and Minnie Mouse. On select nights, fireworks will accompany the show’s soundtrack and projections. Check the Disneyland entertainment calendar or ask your Vacation Wizard for specifics on dates and times.
This is an exciting time for Disney Parks. Don’t miss out! With fireworks returning and the 50th anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World just around the corner, there’s never been a better time to book your vacation.
