Life after Covid-19

by Erin Sistar

Let’s face it, life has been crazy and unpredictable lately. It is so easy to go to a negative place when you are stuck at home. Sadly, it becomes a challenge to think about anything positive. Well, let me be the first to tell you: It’s going to be okay, and we are going to get through this together, or at least that's what all the celebrities tell us. It’s time to start preparing for life after Covid-19. For the day that we get to step outside of our homes without fear.

Right now, everyone is trying to just make it through the day with homeschooling, work, and projects that they have been putting off. Well, I say it’s time to start looking ahead. Find something to look forward to. Something to distract you from the news. I have a suggestion: a vacation.

We are planning our fall break vacation to Disneyland. I have some friends looking way ahead to next summer for an Alaskan cruise on the Disney Wonder, but what if you don’t know where you want to go? Make a wish list. Think about where you have always wanted to go. Is there somewhere you went as a kid that you want to take your kids? The possibilities are endless. The sky's the limit.

Here at The Vacation Wizards, we like to think of ourselves as the experts on where ever you want to be. We will help you plan your perfect vacation, book, and take care of every small detail. So the million dollar question is: Where do you want to go? Theme park, cruise, the beach, or on an adventure around the world.

So there you have it. It’s short and sweet. There will be life after Covid-19. The stock market will go back up, the stores will have toilet paper again, and the kids will go back to school. My best advice is for you to take your mind off your new daily troubles, and look ahead to a possible dream vacation filled with smiles, laughter, and beautiful memories.

Since then, he has passed the torch onto me and I have been planning all of our family’s Disney vacations ever since. I have been to Disney World more times than I can count. I have also cruised with Disney Cruise Line numerous times and I won’t sail with any...
